Gesel Mason Performance Projects

NO BOUNDARIES: Dancing the Vision of Contemporary Black Choreographers celebrates the depth and diversity of style and vision in the field of modern dance. As part of this historical project, Gesel Mason will perform solo works from several of the nation's leading contemporary African American choreographers, including Bebe Miller, Donald McKayle, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Andrea Woods and David Rousseve. Mason, called "one of the area's wittiest and most perceptive dance-essayists" (The Washington Post), also contributes choreography to the project and is joined by two local artists.
